Powell River RCMP says there is no cause for concern after a body was found on the beach of Grief Point airplane park.
According to police, the body was found on Jun. 19, and say the death doesn’t appear to be suspicious but they’re continuing to investigate.
The individual has been identified by RCMP and the family has been notified.
According to their website, last week RCMP responded to 159 calls for service including assaults, mental health, mischief, impaired driving, break and enters and thefts.
