Businesses in the qathet region can now take their trash to the Resource Recovery Centre.
In a social media post, the qathet Regional District says the Centre is open for you to drop off commercial municipal solid waste, such as garbage.
This comes as Augusta Recyclers will not accept this waste starting on Monday, with the district saying that the rates for the waste are still $280 per tonne with a minimum charge of $7.50.
While the centre is open, they say it’s for a limited time only.
For where you can drop off other materials, you can still deliver them to Augusta Recyclers.
